The House Of Usher - A Hymn For The Dead

I wondered why that black car suddenly stopped at my side
The let me know, that there is no flight
Devilish fever in their eyes, when they said to me:
There is no right! yours souls my rise so high,
But there is no life beyond the tide."

Weak and hopeless then, i stumbled into my room
Felt it was nothing else, nothing else than a tomb.
The door was closed and sealed from outside
By the side of the moon, and something made me conscious
That i would have to leave very soon.

A lonely gateway in the dawn, i tried to escape into the past
The waves of my emotions where as a sea, so vast.
And where i came to, i found out, that i was the last
The doomful omen, revealed to me, became reality too fast
